Advanced Technology

At Durham Dental Group, we strive to provide our patients with top quality care as quickly as possible. We use the latest technology in order to provide this type of service and always strive to invest in the most helpful and innovative technology.

Digital X-Rays and Digital Impressions

Digital x-rays and digital impressions are key to providing patients with quick care. With this modern tool, we can immediately share images and quickly diagnose issues. Here are some additional benefits of digital x-rays:

  • They emit about 90% less radiation than traditional x-rays
  • They allow us to share clearer, more accurate pictures with our patients
  • They help us to work quickly
  • They are safe for you and your family

Intraoral Cameras

We use intraoral cameras to take images of your teeth. This device is small enough that our patients remain comfortable while we take photos. Your teeth are also magnified enough that we can catch hard-to-see problems.

We can discover decay, damaged fillings, plaque deposits, weakened teeth, and more issues using the intraoral camera. All of our images are also available for patients to view immediately.

Panorex X-rays

Some areas of the oral structure are more difficult to view than others. A panorex x-ray provides a panoramic view of those areas, such as teeth that are hard to reach, the lower and upper jaw, sinuses, and even the temporomandibular joints. It helps our team to discover issues that could otherwise be difficult to detect.

Trios 3-Shape Scanner

With the Trios 3-Shape Scanner, we can produce realistic digital impressions to create accurate, high-quality dental restorations. The Trios provides quick and comfortable scanning for patients and you will even be able to see a digital model of your teeth. This incredible technology helps our team provide you with the quality care you need.
